Virtual Presentation Benefits

  • ​​Virtual Presentation at CIDSER 2023.
  • Right of attendance to all the congress sessions ( Onsite and Virtual Presentations) and the Keynote Lectures, presented in different event rooms. 
    • FOR 3 AUTHORS OF THE ACCEPTED PAPER, MUST INCLUDE THE SPEAKER FOR ORAL MODALITY.​
  • Congress material.
  • Participation certificate with the names of all paper authors.
  • Publication of the paper in the "Tendencias en Energías Renovables y Sustentabilidad" (TERYS) Journal in case of Abstract and Full Paper or in the Renewable Energy, Biomass & Sustainability, (REB&S, ISSN: 2683-2658) Journal in case of Selected Full Paper.

Virtual Presentation Preparation

The CIDSER 2023 Virtual Presentations may be accepted by the Technical Committee in the following modalities: ORAL or POSTER

As soon as you receive the acceptance of your ABSTRACT or FULL PAPER, you can start the preparation of your Virtual Presentation. 

To prepare your Virtual Presentation in the Oral or Poster modality, please follow the recommendations below.

ORAL 

The following specifications are required for oral presentations:
1. Video preparation of the Virtual Presentation
Instructions:
  • The Virtual Presentation consists of a 15-minute video (mp4 format) where the authors present their work in free style, describing its main sections, which are: 
    • Presentation 
    • Introduction
    • Methodology
    • Results and Discussion
    • Conclusions
    • Bibliography

Virtual Presentation features:​​
  • ​The Virtual Presentation should be a 15 minute video. 
  • Your presentation can be a Lecture style video or a Power Point style video (Recommended)
    • In the Lecture style the video shows mainly the speaker on screen and has accompanying visual aids.
    • Power Point style uses images or any other presentation format as the main feature of the video, accompanied by a voice recording explaining the images or presentation. For this style it is recommended to use between 10 and 15 slides.
  • The video should be recorded at least with a minimum resolution of 720p (HD).

It is suggested:
  • ​Use graphics, diagrams or photographs.
  • Include the logos of the institutions participating in the work on the cover.
  • Include the official logo of CIDSER 2023 and ALDESER (Organizing Association) which can be downloaded below (color and white format for dark backgrounds):

​2. Submission of the Virtual Presentation video
Submission deadline: October 13, 2023

IMPORTANT: If the video file is very large, you can upload it to platforms such as Drive or Dropbox that allow you to store files in the cloud and share them via a link. In case you have difficulties to send it, please feel free to contact us at trabajos@cidser.org to provide you with a link where you can upload your video.

*The submitted videos are property of the authors and will not be distributed without your prior consent

3. Check if there is any recommendations for the submitted video
Once your video has been received, the Organizing Committee will review it to verify that it has good image and sound quality, as well as clear and well-structured content.

If there are any recommendations, you will be informed via email.
If no recommendations are received, your presentation is ready to be presented at CIDSER 2023.

POSTER 

The following specifications are required for poster presentations:
1. Digital poster preparation​
Instructions:
The digital poster consists of an image file (PNG, JPEG o JPG) where the authors present their work. 

Poster Presentation Features:​​​
  • Digital size: 2,551 px width x 3,402 px length (90 cm width x 120 cm length).
  • Include: Title, Authors and Institution, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusions and Bibliography.
  • Use photographs or attractive graphic elements.
  • Creativity in the design.
  • Include the logos of the institutions participating in the work.
  • Include the official logo of CIDSER 2023 and ALDESER (Organizing Association) that can be downloaded below (color and white format for dark backgrounds):

​2. Digital poster submission

*The received digital posters are property of the author and by submitting them you authorize us to publish them in a special section of the website.

​3. Check if there is any recommendation for the submitted digital poster
Once we receive your digital poster, the Organizing Committee will review it to verify that it complies with the specifications and has a clear and well-structured content.

If there are any recommendations, you will be informed via email.
If no recommendations are received, your digital poster is ready to be presented on the official website of the event and you can print it for its presentation at CIDSER 2023.

Virtual Presentation at CIDSER 2023


Virtual Presenters will be able to check the schedule of their presentation at CIDSER 2023 in the Preliminary Program, which will be published on October 12, 2023, and will be subject to the fulfillment of all the requirements mentioned in this website, including the Onsite Presentation fee. Once the CIDSER 2023 Final Program is published on October 25, 2023, there will be no changes due to the proximity to the date of the event.

ORAL 

The Virtual Presentations in Oral Modality will be:
  • Presented in a room through the Zoom platform, and 
  • Projected in a room at the on-site venue of the event.​

​Papers accepted in Oral Modality will have 15 minutes for their presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers. The questions from the attendees and the questions sent through the chat will be read by the room moderator.

Please consider that the speaker (the person who presents in the sent video) must be available and ready to connect with audio and video to the Zoom platform to be able to answer the questions. If the speaker cannot access the platform to answer the questions, one of the other 2 registered authors will be able to take his place. Please let us know the name of the person who will be in the speaker's place at trabajos@cidser.org as soon as possible.

POSTER 

The Virtual Presentations in Poster Modality will be presented in a visual way:
  • Projected in the poster room at the event venue (along with the onsite posters during the entire event).
  • Available in a section of the official website during the event (for virtual and onsite attendees).
